McNeil Canyon
This is canyon stretched from East End Rd down to the shore of Kachemak Bay. I have been curious to photograph it for quite some time. This year has been exceptionally rainy buy on my way back down the road light was poking through and the sky was clearing for the first time in a weeks. I put the drone in the air and made my way down the canyon to find this composition. On the right hand side you can see part of the Kiltcher’s Homestead which is one of the original homesteads in the area and was homesteaded by Yule and Ruth Kiltcher. Today the land is owned by their children and is 600 acres.
